Melissa and Nancy welcome you to their creative collaboration. They created Belle Vie after realizing they shared the same passion in life of remodeling, designing, decorating, creating and styling. They wanted their passion of helping people's visions come to life to become a real business. A business they would love working at every day. A business that made them a team.
They now guide clients in the Bay Area through the creative process of remodeling or building a home. They will be with you every step of the way from the flooring to the roof selections, essentially from the ground up.
If you have purchased a home in the Bay Area they are also able to guide you through decorating your home with furnishings and accessories to transform it into “home”. They also welcome the opportunity to update your current home to give it a whole new life.
They look back now and wonder why they waited so long to create Belle Vie. It is in their DNA to create. In the back of their minds they had always known it, others had known it and maybe they needed their hearts to tell them and that is when they knew it was time. This is their time and they can’t wait to spend it with you!
Melissa Cahoon
Melissa has been transforming spaces for as long as she can remember. She has had a long-time passion for design – from mood boards for her childhood room, to designing her first apartment and places for friends in her young adolescent years, and following into her later adult life as she moved into new homes and built spaces for both herself and her larger network. Melissa teamed up with Nancy in early 2016, and prides herself on pulling spaces together using both old and new pieces for a cohesive look. Together, Melissa & Nancy’s goal is to help their clients achieve the best version of their overall vision by building spaces that are timeless, comfortable, and enjoyable for years to come.
Nancy Freitas
Nancy is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the Bay Area. As a native who grew up in the area and now calls Monte Sereno her home, her knowledge of the area offers unique insights for her clients. She holds 30 years of experience in the industry – her sole career since she started at the age of 21. At the height of her real estate career, she became one of the top agents in Santa Clara County and the top Listing and Selling Agent for her company for several years running; she was awarded the Top Producing Agent in 2009 out of over 1800 agents. She is proud to have closed sales of over $300 million and over 800 transactions in her career to date. Her dedication to clients is unwavering, and she prides herself on the ability to negotiate any situation to a positive outcome for everyone.
Her passion for selling homes has led her to designing, building, managing, and decorating construction projects for both new homes and remodels. She and her husband develop quality custom homes in Silicon Valley, which has led her to discover her passion for design. Nancy also enjoys traveling, hosting her annual charity ladies luncheon, and spending time at home with the boys and the family dogs.
